EXPERIENCED BUTCHER/BEEF CUTTER

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced butcher to join our successful team based in Oxford

The successful applicant will be required to work nights or days cutting beef, poultry, lamb and pork and preparing wholesale orders for our customers, as well as other general duties.

The main responsibilities of the role will be:

-Help to collate cusomter orders
-Conducting daily check and any ad hoc tasks as required.
-Checking raw material quality issued for processing
-Recording and reporting any incidents which could impact on food safety
-Carry out product temperature checks using temperature probes and record results.
-Carry out all metal checks across all lines, adhering to the CCP procedure.  

The Ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working within the food manufacturing industry ideally meat.
- Have previous experience working in a production/quality position within a food factory.
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment

Sales Support Administrator

This is a high profile role within Alden’s, a leading catering butcher based in Oxford. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support the sales manager. Established in 1793 the company is progressive, successful and profitable. 

As Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for taking orders from customers, helping to sort out any customer queries, analysing and reporting on current sales and marketing information and providing general sales administration support to the sales manager

Commercially aware and computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, you will be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Previous sales support experience would be helpful.

Salary £20-£28k per annum

Picker/Packer

- to work on the night shift. Hours would be from 9pm to 6am. Nights to work are Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu (5 nights in total). Main duties will be to pick, pack and scale the produce to complete the customers orders and help with dispatch.

Part / Full time driver

Hours of work are from 8am-12am Monday to Friday.
